Tygpress Scraped The Living Daylights Out Of WordPress

Renard's World

tygpress-is-a-scraper-site

I was exploring new blogs via the WordPress Reader when I discovered some very bad news.

What was the nature of this bad news?

Tygpress — a scraper site, published a huge quantity of blog posts from many WordPress bloggers (It was done without their consent).

By the way, they stole a lot of my blog posts too (From the looks of things, Tygpress has been helping themselves to all of my blog posts).

The blog administrator of I Do Run was the one who brought this to my attention with their blog post, Please Read — Your Blog May Have Been Harvested!.

There was no way that I was going to let Tygpress get away with their transgression. So, I filed a DMCA takedown request on Digital Ocean’s Report Abuse section of their website (Digital Ocean is the hosting provider for the unscrupulous blogger that…

Top Ten Reasons to Climb Mt. Pulag

The Pine-Scented Chronicles

Last February 24, I successfully climbed Mt. Pulag for the second time. There were some hassles along the way but everything ended very well. But I guess it was these “hassles” that bonded our group closer. I was part of an organized group unlike the first time around when my friends and I did a do-it-yourself (DIY) tour. Due to the imposition of stricter rules in the national park, a DIY has become practically impossible.

Anyway, in spite of the odds, my group was able to complete the Mt. Pulag trek (through the easier Ambangeg-Ambangeg backtrail). Back from the cold of the proverbial Playground of the Gods, I can’t help but ruminate on the things when I wanted to come back (and perhaps keep on coming back) to Mt. Pulag.

Here are ten good reasons why you should include climbing Mt. Pulag in your bucket list:

Dairy Free Mashed Potato Recipe

Lydia's Blog

Time for another yummy recipe!!!!!!! 🙂 Today, I’m going to share with you Dairy Free Mashed Potatoes! They are AWESOME!!!! 😂 I make this for myself quite often due to my dairy allergy. Thanks to Kelly from The Pretty Bee for this recipe!

Dairy Free Mashed Potatoes

  • 8 potatoes (I use white russet potatoes)
  • 1/3 cup vegan buttery spread
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (or your preference of dairy free milk)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into one inch chunks.
  2. Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium high and boil for about 15 minutes, or until potatoes are easily pierced with a fork.
  3. Drain the water from the pot, then add the vegan butter spread, non-dairy milk, and salt. Mash until smooth. Add more milk if needed.
  4. Season with…

The Ranch Resort: Spending A Day In Toledo City’s Beautiful Resort And Farm

After a week of backpacking around Northern Mindanao, I was happy to be back in Cebu to finally have a good rest. But, since I’m always open for an invite, especially if it’s about traveling, I’m always on the go. So, instead of planning to rest over the weekend, my friends invited me for a road trip to Toledo, Aloguinsan, and Moalboal. I couldn’t say no to their invitation, so I was given a task to prepare for an itinerary on our road trip. And, the first place we visited was in The Ranch Resort in Toledo.

The Ranch Resort is located in 1058 Laguna Road, Toledo City, Cebu and perhaps this is the only premier Resort that you can find in Toledo City. And, since this Resort has a huge ground area, you’ll experience a wide array of exciting activities and amazing amenities, such as horseback riding, farm…

God is light

Jesus is King

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched – this we proclaim concerning the word of life. 2 The life appeared: we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.

1 John 1-2

…we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light: in him there is no darkness at all.

1 John 1: 5

John was one of the chosen witnesses who were privileged to see, hear and touch someone who had existed from the beginning: Jesus, the son of God, whose eternal fellowship has been extended to others. The incarnation is an event as significant as creation itself. Jesus is the incarnate word!

Will The Linux Desktop Ever Become Mainstream?

Renard's World

the-big-linux-question

Most tech-savvy people are aware of the fact, that Linux powers the majority of the servers on the world wide web (The Information and Technology experts use them because they are highly reliable).

However, when it comes to Linux on the desktop, the usage is dismal in comparison to Windows and macOS; it is as though a large percentage of people do not have faith in using Linux as their daily driver.

Now, I cannot blame people for their unwillingness to try out Linux, because most people are comfortable using operating systems that they already know.

At the moment, there are lots of people who do not know what Linux is (And, you cannot inveigle people to utilize what they are unaware of).

Let God be God of the future

The Godly Chic Diaries

image

Yes!! I love this verse, and the realization  that God has a plan and purpose for each and every one of us and a specific way and perfect time to bring it all to pass.
Amazing!!!
According to ( Isaiah 55.8 ) God’s thoughts are not our thoughts, and his ways are not our ways.
Whatever you are trusting god with, whatever steps you are taking, know that they are the safest route to your future.  Because even when we don’t understand, we can trust God is ordering them purposely forward.

I am an avid photographer. I first started the profession at around the age of nine, and have been at it ever since! I hope to someday (hopefully soon!) start my own photography business. Good Morning Perspective

Joy Cottage

Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. Proverbs 3:5-6. (AMP).

The things God reveals to us are all we need to progress in His plan. We are accountable only for what He has shown to us. We know that all will happen in His perfect timing. Being reminded of Joseph’s life is a key to keeping our peace through fallen plans or failed promises of others. (Remember Joseph could never have imagined all the horrific things that would happen to him; yet his confidence was in the Lord, not himself, and not in those around him).

I was recently reminded that
even though someone may talk a good game, they…

Letters

The poem zone

I’m no longer capable of writing you letters.

My hand has finally cramped & my bones has caused tears to stream down from my eyes…

The letters I’ve written to you are sitting buried in my drawer,

Covered in dust and as sorrow fails.

I want to rid myself of the memory of you…

Yet I can never find the courage to send them off…

About Life

amankumar000

I know life is hard. I know sometimes you feel like giving up : on people and on yourself. I know you have good days and bad boys but more bad than good or so it seems. I know everyday you question yourself “what is this all for?” “am I making the right choices ?”

“am I supposed to be here, now ? ” I know you have questions than answers and most of the time and you don’t even know how to explain them. I know, life is hard, I know but you have to keep going. you have to rise above the waters of your soul, and bloom, no matter how many arrows you carry on your back. the times are hard, I know believe me, but you’re are a goddamn warrior, a soldier filled with both pain and love. and life, well, life is just another beast…

The Gentle Giants of Oslob

That ciTy Girl

Hi folks. I have a lot of things happened to me lately, as in. So many firsts, and I don’t even know what to begin to cover. Like, it was my first time to watch One OK Rock Live! I’ll make an another Life Lately link-up about it. But now I am itching to get my fingers to work on what happened last January.

I’ve always wanted to go to Cebu. Swimming with the Whale Sharks is one of my bucketlists and it’s my to-go places. So when I found out that the venue of the wedding we’re going to organize is there, I was totally ecstatic!

Thankfully the weather cooperated.

It was past one in the afternoon when we touched down at Mactan Airport. There was a white SUV waiting for us and drop us off at Brgy. Tan-awan in Oslob. It’s roughly a 3-hour ride.

The people of Brgy. Tan-awan,Oslob…

GOODNIGHT:-Sketches of surrender.

PePa

Reflecting on it now

Nights like this are the best

Not like am in a haste

To even try and predict how

How my tomorrow will taste

Just thanking God for the day past

And closing my eyes in total surrender

That I know not what tomorrow may bring

Not that I may even in it sing

So sing I do now in praise

Praise to the Almighty for His grace

Grace and mercies that He assures to renew tomorrow

What if I woke up in a different city

City where no one was all gritty

Gritty because your presence was kinda edgy

Edgy for it ain’t common place to just let go

Let go and let God lead you in paths only He knew where it led

Led to cuz even this day was all His will.

Still I long to just close my eyes

And let go of…

446. To Moon, with love..

Thoughtsmith

Whenever I succeed,

in taking some time out,

to be with myself,

I sitalone..

alone with my Night sky..!!

Everytime I’m free..

I escape from my usual ‘me’..

I rush, some time out, to breathe,

alone, with my Moon,

beneath my Night sky..!!

To take off myeyes, I fail,

away from the soothing darkness,

of the star studded black velvetveil,

what my Moon meansto me,

knows, the shooting stars only,

Oh yes, also my Dark Knight, my Nightsky..!!

It wraps us up, it hides us in..

when, in my Moon, I’m lost,

how much I wish..

the time stops ticking,

whenever I’m on my date, my Dark Knight..

everytime,guards us, ourNight sky..!!

Violence is not acceptable in any form

fauxcroft

Violence is not acceptable in any form

Some tend to treat it as the norm

I’ve never felt the need to feel or use it

Never coerced it on being used against me

Maybe as a kid when I was young

A few occasional spats and tantrums

That ended in a few slaps and punches

But since being an adult I’ve not had to use it

And violence is the answer of the weak

From those who lack intellectuality

Borne from frustration, hate and self loathing

These are not emotions I allow to be flowing

Through my mind, body, spirit or soul

I always keep calm and in control

I may speak words of anger once in a while

But I try to restrain it for it leaves me disquiet

And I prefer feeling positive and good

Not feeling negative and toxic

But don’t let me be misunderstood

Prayers

From The Darkness Into The Light

PRAISE: The First Step in Effective Prayer
Praying consistently will change your life. In fact, many of the blessings God wants you to enjoy will never be realized unless you pray.

I think all Christians know they are supposed to pray, and all Christians want to pray. But many of God’s people, if they are completely frank and transparent about the issue, would have to admit their prayer life is somewhere between mediocre and non-existent.

Over the next few devotionals, I want to share with you four simple points which I have put into an acronym: P-R-A-Y. If you can spell the word pray, hopefully you will be able to remember how to make your prayer life more effective, and you will be inspired to pray more consistently.
